The Soulfull Project: Good Food That Does Good
The Soulfull Project jumped on my radar when I received them in my September Vegan Cuts box. I immediately noticed that the packaging stated, “You buy one, we give one,” and was intrigued. As it turns out, for every purchase that someone makes from them, they in turn donate to a food bank in your area, matching serving for serving. Since I’m in St. Paul, MN, that means they donate to Second Harvest Heartland. How amazing is that?
I had received the Blueberry Almond Multigrain Hot Cereal which is packed with rye, oats, quinoa, flax seeds, and chia seeds. It cooks up in one minute in the microwave and makes for a filling breakfast.
Next, I received an assortment of products directly from The Soulfull Project, including two gluten free options. All of their products are non-GMO verified. The single servings hot cereals are all delicious, but I like the versatility of the gluten free Hearty Grains and Seeds cereal.
It contains only whole grains and doesn’t contain sugar, so you can play around with adding to it. My favorite is berries and almond milk with a pinch of sugar.
